The Macedon Ranges

The Macedon Ranges provides a diverse range of localities from the heights of Mt Macedon to the valleys below. Small townships are scattered through the district with many providing an interesting blend of the old and the new.

The fields and paddocks are utilised for a range of agriculture: cattle, horses, sheep or alpaccas, wine growing and other enterprises.

The State Park at the top of Mt Macedon is a stunning place to visit for walks or picnics. There are many tracks that wind their way around the mountain and down into the village of Mt Macedon
